RHONDA

Before my TransLoc 3D procedure, I would have days where I just wanted to give up… that’s how bad my pain was. Even with pain medication, I was constantly on edge, and it felt like my pain was out of control… just out of control. As a computer programmer, sitting for long periods was a requirement, but the pain made it impossible to focus. Standing and sleeping were a huge challenge. I tried everything—pain medication, physical therapy, injections, and nerve ablations—but nothing provided lasting relief. For two years, I lived in constant pain and stress.

After the TransLoc 3D procedure, it felt like I got my life back. I mean, it didn’t happen overnight, and I’m still healing, but I can now sit for longer periods, drive without unbearable pain, and even enjoy gardening and walking my dog again. People at work have noticed that I’m standing straight again, and the pain on my face is gone.

You know, the only thing I regret in this whole process was not being able to do the TransLoc 3D procedure sooner.

HENRY

Before I had the TransLoc 3D procedure, I’d have severe pain that began in my buttocks and radiated down my inner thigh to my knee. It all started when I stepped into my daughter’s hot tub—I thought I had pulled a hamstring because the pain was so sudden and intense.

Gardening, something I love to do, became difficult to do because of the pain. Being on my knees and trying to get back up was very painful. Even sitting in a cushioned chair for more than a few minutes caused my left buttock to ache.

Sometimes, when I slept on my left side, I would start getting pain in my buttocks. There were frequent times where it felt like bones were rubbing together, like between my hip and my spine. If I bent over to pick up something and I didn’t bend my knees and then when I straighten back up, I’d get that bone rubbing.

After the TransLoc 3D procedure, I was able to go out and do gardening without the pain. I actually just put down some mulch. I was on my knees spreading it on the ground, around bushes and stuff like that, and it didn’t bother me much at all. It’s great, I’m feeling much better.

I would definitely encourage anyone who’s considering SI joint fusion to do TransLoc 3D. It definitely has improved my life, and I wouldn’t have any problem recommending that to anybody. It’s wonderful.

MARY

Before I had the TransLoc 3D procedure, everyday life was incredibly hard. I struggled doing just normal type housework and walking. I could barely walk without the aid of a walker. The pain was almost more than you could bear most of the time. Simple things like standing after sitting or getting a full night’s sleep became impossible. I was up probably every two hours, sometimes every hour, shifting just to find a bearable position.

The pain also took away the things I loved most. I love to bake and cook, and it got to where I had to sit in my roller chair to do much of it. I’ve been a basket weaver for 35 years, but I couldn’t sit long enough to enjoy it.

It was frustrating. You go through some depression… you have to keep telling yourself ‘mind over matter,’ but even being a positive person, some days were just more difficult than others. I went through injections but of course, that only lasted a short while.

The day of the TransLoc 3D procedure, I was anxious, but Caroline—one of the TransLoc 3D staff—was a light of sunshine.

Each day after the procedure there was still pain, but as the weeks went on, it got better. I knew immediately when I’d done too much, so I took baby steps. Now I can stand for a longer period of time… I’ve started baking and basket weaving again—and that makes me very, very happy.

I even had both sides done. And though it took time between procedures, I’m very glad I did it. To anyone considering this, especially if they’re nervous, I would say: I was looking for something more long-term than just injections. I still want to be able to go and do as much as I possibly can—even though I’m 78 years old. The TransLoc 3D procedure gave me that chance. It’s made a real difference.

JUSTIN

I had a lot of SI joint pain and it was increasing over time. The hardest thing was standing for long periods of time. I would get a lot of pain in my low back and into my hip area if I was up any longer than maybe 15 minutes.

The pain made it hard to get everything I needed to do accomplished. It’s frustrating when the pain stands in front of you and you can’t get past it to get to the things you want to get done.

Now, after the procedure, I’m not having that SI joint pain. I’m able to sit on hard surfaces, go to the store and go to my parents’ doctor’s appointments.

If you’re having daily pain from your SI joint holding you back, the procedure is pretty easy, simple and there’s not much recovery to it. I would definitely go for it. I wouldn’t let anything hold you back, because afterward, you’re going to see a world of difference.

You’re going to be able to resume your life without having the pain that was holding you back before.

FRANCINE

I’ve never felt like I was 76 years old, but with SI joint pain you limp, and it hunches you over. You get an expression on your face from the pain that cognitively interferes with who you want to be. It’s depressing.

After I had the CornerLoc™ procedure and got complete healing with it, I went back and tried to kiss my doctor…wanted to take him gifts. CornerLoc did it for me. I’m back to the old Francine.

JOSHUA

Following an injury I suffered in the fire department, I experienced pain within my hip and low back for over 10 years. I had multiple rounds of injections, multiple variants of medications, and several lotions and creams. All the treatments helped but never really supplied the lasting relief I needed as a 30 something-year-old father.

Welp, low and behold, my physician tried another diagnostic block, and sure enough, I was a candidate for CornerLoc. I underwent the SI joint fusion procedure in early April.

The next day I was able to walk around almost pain-free. I weened myself off the strong narcotics and continued to walk as tolerated.

By June 1st, I participated in light physical activity with my daughters, like walking the dogs, swimming, and, most importantly, fishing. In August, I was able to go on vacation with the family down in South Carolina, and I didn’t miss a single activity. From touring an aircraft carrier to swimming in the ocean and even going on a “haunted” walking tour late in the night after being active all day. Although it was slow to return, my sex life even improved, which I wasn’t expecting.

I haven’t felt this good in over 10 years.

BETH

The pain in the SI joint was very sharp, so it was much more uncomfortable than the pain in the other areas of my back where I’ve had lumbar and thoracic fusion. It was frustrating.

People look at you and you look normal, so when you can’t do certain things or can’t keep up, they don’t understand.

After the procedure, the sharp pain from the SI joint was 100% gone. It was definitely worth it to have the procedure. I got to go home the same day, and the recovery was very easy. It was very simple…more than I thought it would be.
